What is AIDS?
• AIDS is the acronym for

How do you get AIDS/HIV?

Why is AIDS so frequent in

• As the threat of AIDS in the world increased in the

• Why? It is because treatment and diagnosis of the
disease were rare occurrences
• Additionally a poor economy and society caused
ignorance and a lack of protection
• People lived their lives without even knowing they
had a destructive virus
• The poorest of African nations such as most of
Southern Africa, had the highest cases of HIV/ AIDS
