1. Follow the Instructions that you received in the initial email from ExxonMobil
On-line Procurement. They will guide you through your first sign-on and
updating of your personal information. Save the URL or Internet address in
order to return to this login screen whenever you want to enter the ExxonMobil
On-line Procurement application
Click on the OK
button.
Follow instructions:
Enter your initial password and then enter
a new password that only you will
remember. Enter the new password again
and hit OK
Please complete
your profile and
click Finish
Make sure
your email
info is correct
Note: This screen will appear if you click Edit Locale Settings
from previous screen. Click Finish when done.
Once you have completed your login you will see the following screen. You
can always update your personal information and password by using the
Personalize link on the top of the page.
If you are ready to enter the system, click on the gadget labeled eRFX
Enter On-line Procurement.

Once you enter the ExxonMobil eRFX On-line Procurement system, there is additional material available
to you via the Help button at the top of your screens.

The next screen you will see is your Dashboard. If it is blank, you will need
to customize to view details. Click the Customize button.
On the next screen select Add Content under the Navigation Panel column.
If you now see eRFX in your Navigation Panel column, repeat the process of
adding content to the Left Column and Right Column as shown in the
following screens .
Add Messages and Events to your Dashboard. Please ignore the Demo area.
Your Dashboard should now look like the screen shot below.
If you are invited to an eRFX event you will see the name of the Event and any
Messages as links. If you click on a link it will take you directly to the event
from your Dashboard.
You can always click on Event List link and it will take you to a screen that
displays all events that you have been invited to.
This is an example of what your screen may look like if you have been invited
to a number of events that are in various stages of completion.
Next, please click Preferences in order to keep your email and local
information current.
Note : Use the buttons on the screen. DO NOT click the 'Back or Forward'
buttons at the top panel of your browser when using the eRFX site.
It is very important to keep your email address current within the system. To
make any changes, click Edit.
Now you should see the bid event(s) that you have been invited to, including
status and Time Remaining for that status.
Click on the RFX name to view details and submit a bid.
Message Center will show a blinking mail
icon if you have a recent message
If the Buyer has set the pre requisite for you to indicate your interest to respond, you
need to click on the Intend to Respond button and refresh the screen before you are
allowed to prepare your bid/ response. If there is no Intend to Respond button, you
can proceed to the next page and review the content of the bid event.
Before proceeding with reviewing the 4 main tabs associated with the bid
content, please note the Q&A Board and Time Remaining features
Time Remaining
on this event
There are four main tabs which allow you to view information related to this event are:
RFX Info, Items, Rules and Event Change History.
The RFX Info tab includes all instructions and requirements for the current event.
Event Change History Tab helps to track the past changes done to this event.
The Items tab includes all items which you as a potential supplier may bid on.
The Rules tab indicates Currency, Timing Rules, and other criteria for this bid
event.
The Event Change History tab includes a history of changes made to the
event by the owner/buyer.
Input your
response in the
blank space, then
click Next
Enter Values - is where you input your bid. When finished, click Next.
Be careful to check for additional pages to ensure you respond to all items.
If you hit Save instead of Submit you should see the following WARNING.
Your response will only be recorded if you hit Submit.
To go back to the screen that will allow you to submit, click OK or Cancel
Once you submit a bid, this page will be displayed. A message will pop up in
the Message Center indicating that the bid was entered.
There will be a bid ID attached to successful bid. This ID number will assist
Support in tracing your bid submission if there is any problem during the bid
process.
Notice that after you submit a bid, there is an additional tab in the event, labeled
My Response. This tab records all bids that were submitted successfully.
Click on Bid Number under the Id column to view more information.
