instruments is the HUMAN VOICE. It is
the most personal and direct of all

the body. The song projected by human
voice is the most natural form of music.

Male voices

The lowest of the
male local
registers is the
basso profundo.

Female voices

have three
registers: alto
(lowest), mezzo
soprano (middle),
and soprano
(highest). The
highest of the
female vocal
registers is the
coloratura soprano.

It is the most expressive of all the
instruments. It is Mans first
instrument. Tones are produced by
the vibrations of vocal chords in the
voice box (larynx) resonating in the
cavities of the chest, mouth and
nose.

Classification of Voice

females.
Alto or Contralto is just below soprano and also sung

by females.
Tenor is the highest pitch for a male voice.
Bass is the lowest pitch in a chorus and sung by males.
Mezzo-soprano is the pitch in between soprano and

bow consists of a stick with many hairs stretched between
its ends and causes a stick-slip phenomenon that makes
the string vibrate.
Plucking method used in playing string instruments,
such as the banjo, ukulele, guitar, harp, lute, using a finger
or a plastic plectrum (pl. plectra) to pluck the strings.

mouthpiece.
