US-UK Cooperative Development MOU

Our Army at War Relevant and Ready

US-UK Apache Cooperative Development MOU signed 22 May 00

Focus = Identify potential areas of Apache Helicopter cooperation through the exchange
of information and developing Project Arrangements (PA) to accomplish those efforts.

Current PAs
Enhanced Radar Frequency Interferometer, 9 Dec 02
Under water Cockpit Egress Test, 21 Jun 04

Potential PAs
Robertson External Fuel Tank Integration
Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) enhancements

MOU is within the scope of the US/UK Rotary Wing Working Group which addresses all
USG owned co-operative bi-lateral rotorcraft related technology based programs with
the UK MoD

MOU has enabled the Apache PM to bring developments forward that would not be
resourced until out years. Enhanced PMs ability to influence standardization and
rationalization thru direct information exchanges.
