Languages

Hawaii.
New Mexico has laws providing for the use of both English
and Spanish

certain government documents including court forms.
Many jurisdictions with large numbers of non-English
speakers produce government materials, especially voting
information, in the most commonly spoken languages in
those jurisdictions.
Family structure
58% of Americans age 18 and over are
married, 6% widowed, 10% divorced, and
25% had never been married.
Same-sex marriage is currently legal in
Illinois for same-sex couples in which at
least one of them is terminally ill.
Polygamy is illegal in all 50 states.
