INTRODUCTION
Hindustan copper limited was set up on the
9 nov.1967 and assigned the task of
exploration prospectively and mining activity
for minerals in particular Cu extraction and
fabrication of metals and manufacture of
products- alloys and byproduct. It is also
expected to undertake research development
consulting services in concentrator, smelter
and refinery. Its head office is in Kolkata .

Main Working Of The Plant

CONCENTRATOR PLANT

First of all ore is taken into crushing plant.

Crushed ore is taken in the bunkers by
conveyor belt.
Next ore is carried into grinding mill by
conveyor belt.

done.
Chemical is used for flotation is called
Chalcopyrite.

& pine oil is added.

middling.

sent in reclining cell.

is better than the
rougher cells.
After that froth sent
in thickener and then

By this process, parts of desired shapes &
sizes can be formed.
