Solve : 4x+y =-8 (1)

x2 +x -y =2 (2)

From (1)
Substitute in (2):

y = -8 - 4x
x2 + x (-8 4x ) = 2

Simplify to get Q.E:

x2 + 5x + 6 = 0

Solve Q.E:

(x + 3) (x + 2) = 0

The first unknown
