Metabolic syndrome of different parameters
Conclusion
Prevalence of metabolic syndrome is
high in our community. It is
significantly associated with
increasing age and female sex.
Metabolic syndrome is an under
appreciated, under recognized and under
diagnosed, responsible for cardiovascular
and cerebrovascular diseases. Early
identification of metabolic syndrome and
appropriate intervention may be primary
importance in population having high
prevalence of both disorders.
