Blue eyes technology

The blue eyes technology aims at creating
computational machines that have sensory ability
like those of human beings .

2. TYPES OF EMOTIONAL SENSORY

For Hand: Emotion Mouse
For Eyes: Expression Glasses
For Body: Conductor Jacket

2.1 Hand: EMOTIONAL MOUSE
Pressure sensor
Gsr sensor
Temperature sensor
Heartbeat sensor

2.2 Eyes: Expression Glasses
It is a wearable device that allows any person to
visualize the confusion of the person.

2.3 Body: Conductors Jacket

A jacket helps to extend the conductors ability to
express emotion and intentionality

3. THE BLUE EYES HARDWARE
3.1 Data Acquisition Unit (DAU)
1.Its main task is to fetch the physiological data
2.The sensor will send data to the central system to be
processed.
3.Personal ID cards and PIN codes provide
operator's authorization.

3.2 Jazz Multi sensor

2.Eye movement is measured using direct
infrared transducers.
1.It supplies Raw digital data
regarding eye position, the
level of blood oxygenation.
4. CENTRAL SYSTEM UNIT
1.The box contains a Bluetooth module and PCM
codec for voice data transmission.
2.Unit maintains the other side of the bluetooth
connection, buffers incoming sensor data, performs
on-line data analysis.
4.1 Connection Manager
The Connection Manager handles:
Communication with the CSU hardware
Searching for new devices in the covered range
Establishing Bluetooth connections
Connection authentication
Incoming data buffering
Sending alerts

4.2 Data Analysis Module

Performs the analysis of the raw sensor
data, in order to obtain information about the
physiological condition.
4.3 Data Logger Module
1.The raw or processed physiological data,
alerts and operator's voice are stored.
2. A Voice Data Acquisition module delivers
the voice data.

4.4 Visualization Module
1.Enables them to watch each of the working
operators physiological condition along with a
preview of selected video source and related
sound stream.

2.The Visualization module can be set in an off-line
mode, where all the data is fetched from the
database.
Data base
5. APPLICATIONS OF BLUE EYES
1.In automobile industry
Ex: Cars.
2.In video games
3.To create Face Responsive Display and
Perceptive Environment
4.In providing security and controlling the machines

6.ADVANTAGES OF BLUE EYES
A More natural mental model for the user

Faster than Pure manual pointing

Improved subjective speed and case of use

Practical accuracy level
DISADVANTAGES OF BLUE EYES
Liberal approach is Distracting when the user is trying
to read.

The motor action Computation cannot start until the
cursor appears.
7.LIMITATIONS OF BLUE EYES
1) Target not selected if not looked at for a set
Threshold

2) Target selected if stared at without user Intention

8.FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

1.In the future, ordinary household devices-such as
Televisions, Ovens may be able to do their jobs when
we look at them and speak to them.

2.Future applications of blue eye technology is
limitless
Provide more delicate and user friendly facilities in
computing devices

Gap between the electronic and physical world is
reduced

The computers can be run using implicit commands
instead of the explicit commands

Future applications of blue eye technology is limitless
