DEFINATION
Carbon filament lamps are obsolete for general lighting ,
used for special applications.
CARBON FIBER-An extremely strong, thin fibre , consisting of
long, chainlike molecules of pure carbon that are made by
charring synthetic fibers such as rayon in the absence of
oxygen. Carbon fibers are used in high-strength composite
materials in aircraft, automobiles, architectural structures,
and in other applications where light materials capable of
withstanding high stress are required .

A real odd one- this very unusual carbon filament lamp
features a quite unique filament construction that I have
never seen anywhere else before. It is a 220 volt bulb and as a
result it needs a longer length of filament than 110-120 volt
ones. Normally this is achieved by having 3 or 4 loops side by
side often with anchor pins at the bottom of each to steady
them.

the bulb is turned into heat rather than
into light.
