WHO WAS PAUL? HE WAS BORN IN ITALY IN THE
CITY OF TARSUS. HE WAS HIGHLY EDUCATED AND
FLUENTLY SPOKE SEVERAL LANGUAGES. HE
TRAINED WITH RABBI GARMALIEL. HE BECAME A
VERY INFLUENTIAL PHARISE WHO AFTER THE
BIRTH OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, BECAME
JUDAISMS MOST OUTSPOKEN ACTIVIST AGAINST
THE CHRISTIANS.
ACTS CHAPTER 9 TELLS US THE STORY OF SAUL (PAULS)
CONVERSION.
Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against
the Lords disciples. He went to the high priest

and asked him for
letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any
there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might
take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

As he neared Damascus on
his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

He
fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, Saul, Saul, why do
you persecute me?

Who are you, Lord? Saul asked.
I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, he replied.

Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told
what you must do.

The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless;
they heard the sound but did not see anyone.

Saul
got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes
he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand
into Damascus.

called Paul
NEW BEGININGS!!!!!!!! HE WAS GIVEN A NEW
NAME!!!!!!!
OFF WITH THE OLD ON WITH THE NEW !!!!
CITY POINT!!!!! NEW BEGININGS!!!

1- His life was threatened and he escaped over the wall
in a basket!!!! Acts 9:25
2-His message was rejected by the Jews and accused o
blasphemy. Acts 13:45
3- He was dragged outside of the city of Lystria and
stoned Acts 14:19
4-Contention arose between him and Barnabas that
caused a division Acts 15:39
5-Paul and Silas were arrested beaten and thrown
in prison. Acts 16:22-24
6- His preaching caused an uprast at
Thessalonica. Acts 17:13-14
7- His message was rejected ant Corinth. He was
arrested and stood trial Acts 18:12
8- A riot broke out at Ephesus after the
conversion of idol worshippers Acts 19-29
9- A riot broke out in the city and he was arrested Acts
21:30
10- He had to go to court for preaching the gospel Acts 22
11- A group of zealot religious Jews sought to kill him. Acts
23:12
12- While on his way to Rome he was shipwrecked. Acts
27:9-26
13-He was bitten by a deadly snake and miraculously
survived!!!! Acts 28:3-6

Because of the extravagance of
those revelations, and so I wouldnt get a big head,
I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in
constant touch with my limitations. Satans angel
did his best to get me down; what he in fact did
was push me to my knees. No danger then of
walking around high and mighty! At first I didnt
think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it.
Three times I did that, and then he told me,
My grace is enough; its all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing
on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a
case of Christs strength moving in on my weakness. Now I
take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these
limitations that cut me down to sizeabuse, accidents,
opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so
the weaker I get, the stronger I become.

FEAR GIVE SATAN CONTROL THE SAME AS FAITH
GIVES GOD CONTROL
Here are 3 examples of God turning the tables on the
plans of the enemy!!!
Josephs brothers threw him into a pit and sold him to a
band of Ishmaelites!!!
7 years later the sons of Jacob stood before him buying
food!!! They didnt even know who he was.
Then when they realized who he was they were scared
to death he was gonna have them killed.
BUT AS FOR YOU YE THOUGHT EVIL AGAISNT
ME BUT GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD, TO
BRING TO PASS AS IT IS THIS DAY, TO SAVE
MUCH PEOPLE Alive (GENS. 50:20
YES LORD, YES LORD, YES, YES, LORD!!!!!!
WHATEVER YOUR THORN MIGHT BE YOUR REACTION TO THE
PERSECUTION OPPOSITION AND SPIRITUAL ATTACKS WILL HELP
DETERMINE THE OUTCOME. AT TIMES GOD WILL ALLOW TROUBLE
TO KEEP US COMLPLETELY DEPENDANT ON HIM!!!

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come
at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is
forced into the open and shows its true colors. So dont try to get
out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become
mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
