Our school lays in Hadsten in
Denmark. Hadsten is a very nice
small town with 7700 inhabitants
(2010)
We got a pedestrian street with 20
shops, a center with 10 shops
(small, but ok), and banks, a
station to trains and bus.
Hadsten has a high school (600
students), a technical college
(1000 students), a Folk High
School (120 students) and some
other educational small
educational places
There are 3 public schools in
Hadsten.
Hadsten is 25 km from Aarhus
and 12 km from Randers.

We go to school about 200 days
pr year

5 times a year we got something
called a flexweek. A flexweek is a
week where we only have one
subject a whole day or all week,
but it changes what kind of things
we do.

One time a year we have a
vacation called The
Summervacation it's the longest
vacation we got, it's about 6
weeks long, and placed in
june/july/august

Especially just after Christmas we
have a lot of small vacations like
Winter holiday, Palm sonday, and
Easter.

In Denmark are we all in the
same school we don't have
middelschool and stuff like
that..
The pupils are from the age of
5 to 15-16 years old.
We are all in the same area
but in different classes.
We go from 1th grade to 9 or
10th grade. In our school we
only have to 9th grade grade
If you want to have 10th grade
you will too go to another
school in Hadsten.

In most of the schools in
Denmark are the schedules
the same, but the subjects are
different class to class.
There is Math, Danish,
English, German, P.E,
Carpentry, Arts, Music,
Chemistry, Physics, Religion,
Biology, Geography, History
and Politic Science.
Our school starts at 8.05 in the
morning - the longest time we
can have is 7 lessons in school
which means that the day at
latest ends at 14.20.

In 9th grade, we have a exam
before we going out of school.
In some subjects you have to
take an exam, and in other
subjects you extract wheter
you will have to take an exam

Caf Madkassen
We have a cafeteria were we
can buy food, fruit and water in
the breaks. And it is always
fresh.
Sometimes we can buy special
things like pizza, pasta, rice,
potatoes, meatballs, fish etc.
At lunch time there is also a
big salad bar.
A warm meal cost about 2 to 3
Euros, and salad cost about
1.5 to 2 Euros .
It is always healthy food, they
sell.

of psysical education and
have many possibilities to
burn som calories in the
breaks
