ON ABSENTEEISM:
There is a inverse relationship though based on pretty research evidence between satisfaction and absenteeism. When satisfaction is high absenteeism tends to be low and vise versa. As in productivity, absenteeism is subject modification by certain factors like the degree to which people feel that their jobs are important. Employees who believe that their work is important then do those who do not feel this way. It is also worth mentioned that a high degree of job satisfactions will not necessarily result in low absenteeism, while a low level of job satisfaction is likely to bring about high absenteeism.
ON TURNOVER:
Like that between satisfaction and absenteeism an inverse relationship though at a moderate level has been established between satisfaction and turnover. However, there is other moderating as well as influencing the employees turnover rates. Commitment to the organization is one such factor. There may be some employees who cannot see them working anywhere else, so they remain in the organization regardless of how much dissatisfied they feel in the organization. Similarly if the condition of the economy will stay where they are. Just the opposite tends to apply to the general economy condition in which jobs easily available. If green pastures are available employees do not mind going in search of them, even when they are satisfied with their existing jobs.
ON OTHER DIMENSIONS:
Employees with high job satisfaction tend to have better mental and
physical health. They learn new job related tasks more easily and quickly.
Last but not the least; the satisfied employees tend to evidence
pronominal attitude towards their co-workers and customers.
Improve your job skills. Imagining yourself in your dream job, you might see
yourself as an excellent project manager a confident communicator and a highly organized person. Why not work on these skills in your present job?
Develop your own project. Take on a project that can motivate you and give
you a sense of control. Start small, such as organizing a work-related celebration, before moving on to larger goals. Working on something you care about can boost your confidence. Mentor a co-worker. Once you've mastered a job, you may find it becoming routine. Helping a new co-worker or an intern advance his or her skills can often restore the challenge and the satisfaction you desire.
Ask for a new challenge. If you're comfortable doing so, tell your supervisor
you're a little bored with what you're doing and would like a new challenge.
STAY POSITIVE
Try these techniques: Stop negative thoughts. Pay attention to the messages you give yourself. When you catch yourself thinking your job is terrible, stop the thought in its tracks. Put things in perspective. Remember, everyone encounters good days and bad days on the job. Look for the silver lining. "Reframing" can help you find the good in a bad situation. For example, you receive a less than perfect performance appraisal and your boss warns you to improve or move to another job. Instead of taking it personally or looking for another job right away, look for the silver lining. Depending on where you work, the silver lining may be attending continuing education classes, working closely with a performance coach and having the satisfaction of showing your boss you're capable of change. Learn from your mistakes. Failure is one of the greatest learning tools, but many people let failure defeat them. When you make a mistake at work, learn from it and try again. Be grateful. Gratitude can help you focus on what's positive about your job. Ask yourself, "What am I grateful for at work today?" If it's only that you're having lunch with a trusted co-worker, that's OK. But find at least one thing you're grateful for and savor it.
The main objective of the research is to study the attitude of the employees towards their position in organization and if they are found resistant to suggest measures to overcome the same. Findings:
The survey was carried through a questionnaire and the questions were. Formed kept

Suggestions
Provision of reasonable wages plays an important role in improving the standard of
living. This single factor is imp for a worker than any other. So, the company must provide adequate wages to the workers. Systematic planning reduces hurdles at workplace and it ensures smooth flow of work methods. So, the present method of planning the work would be maintained as before to attain the goals very effectively. The mutual cooperation between employees at workplace is very important to carry out
the work at right time, so, the organization should take of providing scope for
communication with other departments. Attractive schemes would activate employees and increase individualistic work efficiency. Extra and intra mural facilities are also boosting factors for efficient work source.
CONCLUSIONS
Findings and suggestions are based on the survey conducted and these points are to be looks into and steps are to be taken in this regard for higher growth. From this analysis I conclude that the job provides the opportunity to the employees to exercise his/her skills at work place. Number of the employees
