People store mainly their raw food and vegetables in the refrigerator to reduce the rate of spoilage. So to avoid or reduce the usage or of refrigerants our team has come up with a special magical box with this unique and amazing box. People will be able to store foods such as meat, vegetable and fruits fresh. It could be used as a common household appliance replacing the refrigerator and insure its part in reducing the global warming as well.

Light up the bulb in the big box to get 40C. Pour 200ml of ice water in each cup. Place the cups in the boxes. Measure the initial temperature of ice water in each box. Record the data in the table. Place the boxes in the big box. Start the stop watch. When the time reaches 2 minutes, take the readings of all thermometers. Record the readings in the table 1.0. Repeat the step 8 and 9, when the time reaches 4 minutes, 6 minutes, 8 minutes and 10 minutes. Repeat all steps and record the data in the table Repeat 1.1 and Repeat 1.2. Calculate the average temperature of ice water in each box by the time and record in table Average 1.0.

Our original purpose of the experiment is to investigate the relationship between type of material and temperature of ice water. The record of the experiment was showed that polystyrene covered box

Our hypothesis was polystyrene will withstand more heat than wood, aluminum foil and cotton wool. The Results indicate that this hypothesis should be considered true. Polystyrene can withstand more heat.
