DEFINITION OF 1 MALAYSIA
1 according to the explanation of concepts Malaysia
Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak:

•"We stand, we think and act as a nation of Malaysia.

One People. And we take actions based on the
needs of all ethnic groups in our country.
•This does not mean we waive affirmative policy,
policies to help Bumiputera policy was implemented
as long as it's fair and give consideration to those
who qualify for a Bumiputera consideration from the
government.

 Malaysian people consists of various races and religions
need to consider themselves as a nation of Malaysia to
think and act towards achieving a goal. Consistent with
this, the existing unity between the people gone in this
country should be further strengthened to create a more
peaceful atmosphere of the country, developed , safe
and prosperous.
 1 concept introduced by Malaysia Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun
Abdul Razak, the Prime Minister, is a timely step with
climate and tastes of the people. This concept is in line
with what is stipulated in the Federal Constitution and
the Fundamental Principles of State.
 1 Malaysia's aspiration to improve relations bring people to
ensure that people of Malaysia can establish a closer
unity. Things that need to be established in the basic
unity is the sense of respect, sincerity and mutual trust
between people.




unity in diversity which serves as a
strength and advantage of Malaysia and
its people will be preserved as best we
supply to face any challenge.
 1 Malaysia will also establish a
government that prioritizes the
achievement of priority based on people
who showed through slogan such as
Dato' Sri Najib Tun Razak that 'people
first, preferred Achievement'
 VALUES 1 MALAYSIA
 Thereare eight values applied by YAB
Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak
in Malaysia concept '1'. Values are
expected to integrate the people of
Malaysia with the mind and actions
that lead to one goal for the country.

 1. Culture of Excellence
 Cultural practices will bring Malaysia to
the excellent level of success and
achievement is higher. Success and
achievements of people and countries
depending on the extent to which a
culture of excellence practiced by the
people.
 2. Boldness
 Success and achievements of people
and countries depending on the
extent to which a culture of
excellence practiced by the people.
Struggle to achieve progress and
excellence of the country urgently
needs leaders and its people resilient
to face all obstacles and unexpected.

 3. HUMILITY
 Feeling humble is an inherently
important to belong. In Islam, humility
is said SOUP '. Nature of humility is
encouraged in the teachings of Islam
as well as cultural and nature of the
Malay community that respects the
humility.

 4. RECEPTION
 The concept of tolerance and acceptance
are two different things whether the
expression or implementation. Receipt
will show a positive treatment receive
anything with hearts full of faith without
any elements of forced. Tolerance while
also occur because there is no other
choice or forced. Behavior or tolerance
occurs when a party no choice and
accepted it with dishonesty.
 5. LOYALTY

any situation. Loyalty to King and
Country is the second principle of
compulsory Fundamental closely held
by every citizen of this country
without undivided. All people need to
satisfy the interests and loyalty to
country above loyalty to people and
groups themselves.
 6. MERITOCRACY
 Meritocracy is a direction that must be
practiced in democratic countries to
ensure they meet the qualifying
criteria and given the opportunity to
drive national development.
 7. EDUCATION
 Education and knowledge are essential
prerequisite for any country to
achieve success. Strength and
durability is based on the community
and knowledgeable military strength
to overcome.
 8. INTEGRITY
 It is important for a government to get
the trust and confidence of the
people. Trust and confidence obtained
through the values of integrity. This
value must be adopted by all parties
until all levels of leaders, regardless
of position.
 Conclusion
•

 One concept will lead Malaysia's aspiration to

strengthen race relations to ensure that the people
of Malaysia can establish a closer unity as the
requirements of the National Fundamental
principles. Things need to be created in the spirit of
unity is the feeling mutual respect and trust
between people.
 People need to understand and practice that all
actions must satisfy the national interest. All people
need to consider that their nation is Indonesia,
where everything should be enjoyed together.
 Malaysia is a country where there is no community or
people who will enjoy the marginalized from the
development and defense of government.
