Descriptive Itinerary
Day One - Arrive into London Heathrow Airport, where you will be met by your driver for the transfer into central London for a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city to include the major sights. Check-in at your centrally located hotel and this will be your base for the next 3 nights. Day Two - Morning visit to the Shakespeare?s Globe Theatre for a backstage theatre tour, offering a fascinating introduction to the world-famous Globe Theatre and life in Shakespeare's London. Discover Elizabethan Bankside - the city of London's playground, see a sword-fighting display, find out how actors are dressed in handmade costumes and take a tour of today?s working theatre brought vividly to life by one of the story-teller guides. This will be followed by lunch in the Globe Restaurant before attending a matinee theatre performance. Evening is at leisure. Day Three - Morning visit to the Theatre Museum, featuring British Theatre from Shakespeare?s day to present. This will be followed by a backstage tour of the Theatre Royal, the home of "Miss Saigon". The history is brought to vivid life as key characters, writers and actors from the theatre's 300 year old past take you back through time as you look around this famous theatre.
