Entrepreneur is an economic agent. He play significant role in the economic development of the country. An entrepreneur is an individual with knowledge, skills , initiative, drive and spirit of innovation who aims at achieving goals.

Acc. to E.E. Haggen , An entrepreneur is an economic man who tries to maximize his profit by innovation. Innovations problem solving and the entrepreneur gets satisfaction from using his capabilities in attacking problems

Entrepreneurship is the process of identifying opportunities in the market place, arranging resources required to pursue these opportunities and investing the resources to exploit the opportunities for long term gain. Entrepreneurship may be regarded as what an entrepreneur does. It is process of action of being an entrepreneur.

Intrapreneur is usually employee of within a company who are assigned a special idea or project, and are instructed to develop the project like an entrepreneur would. The intrapreneur s main job is to turn that special idea or project into a profitable venture for the company.

He is the owner of the company. He is independent. He raise capital himself. He bears full risk. He converts the ideas of intrapreneur into reality. Profits are reward. He may not have formal qualification.

He works for the business. He is semi-independent. He does not raise any capital. He does not bear any risk. He creates new ideas.
