Hunting, looking and launching for wholesaler deals. Assessing and planning for the potential wholesaler deals in Discovery Overland Holidays. Assist in implementation of marketing strategies. Perform analysis of marketing and sales data. Do calculation and worksheet in obtaining the best rate for each travel package to the LivingSocial customers. Seek and analyze competitors marketing and sales materials both on and off line. Research and qualify potential new partnerships/sales opportunities . Co-operate with other departments as well in launching wholesales deals which to be featured on LivingSocial website. In charge in launching the wholesaler deals. Collect the data via online and offline (competitor selling rate & Discovery Overland Holidays rate) and conduct calculations by using Microsoft Visual C++. Seek and analyze competitors marketing and sales materials. Calculate the best selling price and margin for each travel package with commission. Perform analysis of marketing and sales data.

Sales Agreement
An agreement (contract) in which property is transferred from the seller (vendor) to the buyer (vendee) for a fixed price in money. Describe the room packages, voucher worth, voucher sales price, discount, commission and the validity period for the packages. It is signed when a Discovery Overland Holidays agreed for paying same money which is demanded and specified in this contract by the LivingSocial.

Fine Print
Describe precisely the escapes kits. Specify the travel period, additional terms and conditions (blackout dates and maximum occupancy per room). Fix the period for reservation and disclosure the terms and conditions for reservations 5 days after buy the vouchers else cannot make reservation.

Inquiries by customers and make reservations


Customer inquiries are received via phone calls and emails. Answer incoming customer calls in a courteous and professional manner. Inquiries that come through email are directly received and replied by using Salesforce. Provide answers to inquiries relating to deals, reservation status, refunds and any other questions that may arise. Check for room availability and make the reservations with Discovery Overland Holidays. Close the cases with minimal error once the customers cases have been resolved.

Invoice

A commercial document issued by the company, indicating the products, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services provided. Payment terms are included on the invoice such as term 30 days and so on. The customer could have already paid for the products or services listed on the invoice. From the point of view of a seller, an invoice is a sales invoice while from the point of view of the customer, an invoice is a purchase invoice. The document indicates the buyer and seller, but the term invoice indicated money is owed or owing.

During the training I have being given opportunities to make some decision that related to my task. Although its just a minor decision, however it gives me motivation to perform the entire task successfully. During my three days training at Quality Assurance Department have given the chance to performed quality checking in one of the production line and conduct the report by myself

Adaptable Problem Solving

Most of the time, when I face problem in my task or work I will try to solve by my self first. However if I cant solve the problem I will ask my mentor or others staff to help my find solution or solve the problem. Throughout the training period most of the problem arises were technical such as computer and software problem. Others problem include communication problem with foreign operators, workers incorporation and lack of information to perform given task. To handle the communication problem with foreign operators I always try to communicate with them using simple word and try to include some hand instruction. If t he worker still cant understand I will ask help from other worker to be translator.
