INTRODUCTION :An oceanarium can be either a marine mammal park, or a large-scale aquarium, presenting an ocean habitat with marine animals. Oceanarium are developed to experience the marine environment. To interact with marine life. This structure are sense of both business as well as research. Oceanarium acts as a home to rare marine species. Oceanarium bridges the discovery, research, and conservation activities. It offers the opportunity for visitor to experience and learn about the marine environment. It is like a natural theme park where one can see the marine creatures in their natural habitat.

AIM :The Oceanarium is a device that aims to be the new symbol and leading equipment dedicated to education and to explore the regional sea and ocean mammals as a whole. With the main theme of protection of the marine environment is now the key issue for sustainable development. OBJECTIVE :(a) To create a commercial theme park where marine mammals are kept within water tanks and displayed in public. Advance technologies designs allows visitor to wander through tunnels and bridges to gain differing perspective on the species. (b) To develop a research center and conservation center. (c) To create an awareness among the visitors about the protection and preserving of marine mammals by establishing educational center. (d) To develop entertainment center to attract the public.

NEED :There is a certain need for the development of oceanarium in India as it is rich in marine life. There is a need to conserve and preserve the marine species. No large scale research center are developed in India for Marine mammals. Also the locals as well as the visitors from outside can be educated and a awareness can be created among the locals. It also acts as an entertainment center and attracts people.

India is surrounded by sea on three sides and has one of the longest coastlines in the world.
Rich in marine life over 24,000 marine species and 1/4th of world marine mammal population found in Indian ocean. Threatened by pollution and the collapse of marine resources, the oceans have become a global issue and India, powerful state in the Indian Ocean, has an important contribution to make in preserving its ecology and resources to ensure development social development in its coastal populations. There is no state of art facility available in the country for appropriate scientific research and awareness. Helps in tourism development .

FOCOUS :Under water construction techniques :-acrylic panel detailing -guiding using light -water proofing detail. Design shapes and forms.

LIMITATION :Marine mammal requirement and exhibit center. Water systems Temperature , humidity, and ventilation details.
