Boje korica knjige ovise o osjeajima koje se eli potaknuti kod potencijalnog itatelja. Dizajn korica knjige treba koristiti kombinaciju boja koja privlai ciljanu publiku i odraava temu.
Svaka boja izaziva odreene emocije i asocijacije uvjetovane kulturolokim i psiholokim komponentama.
