How GEMS Support Malaysia Plan

th 10

The main aim of GEMS is to train, expose and prepare graduates for future career opportunities with the intention to contribute to the economy by reducing the talent shortages in key economic sectors & mobilising human capital to support the countrys economic growth by reducing unemployment among graduates.

Review on GEMS
The soft skills training programme developed to enhance employment marketability among unemployed graduates and facilitate transition from the academic world to the business world. - PETRONAS

Gems is certainly a good initiative to equip unemployed graduates with required skills and competencies to enhance their employability - Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad

I was unemployed for four months after graduating so I signed up with Gems. Then I was placed in a well-known GLC and when I completed my six-month apprenticeship, I was fortunate to be absorbed as an employee. Gems kick-started my career and I am very grateful for the opportunity - Mohd Helmi Mohd Zaki, Gems Talent Intake Six

Conclusion
Does not guarantee any employment Provide a second chance for youths or graduates with low academic qualifications and skill levels to have more opportunities to get employments.

Prime Minister had also expressed confidence in the continued success of the programme
