Clean Bandit Dust Clears.

As a group we have decided that this song would work well with the type of video we want to make. The slow tempo and mixture between the electronic synths and backing track, compared with acoustic instruments playing works well. Also the vocals of both the female and the male allows the audience to get attached to the song and our video.

This song does have an existing video however we would like to create a different interpretation towards this song so that our video is not in any way similar.

In our video
We would like our video to include the mixture of narrative and performing within the studio and outdoors. We want our video to rely on the creativity and uniqueness of the shot variety, prop choice, location and performing of actors. However, when the actors perform within the studio we want to make it different by adding graphic symbols and shapes to the performers whilst singing and dancing to make it more effective and creative.

A paradigm shift or revolutionary science is a change in the basic assumptions, or paradigms, within the ruling theory of science. The term has also been used in numerous nonscientific contexts to describe a profound change in a fundamental model or perception of events. Compare as a structured form of Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist
The defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time. These have also been known to be Random Memories or events within an individuals life.

Cause youd been living in a world of your own design, undermined

This part of the song we think is a really important aspect of the video as it describes what the setting (world) could be like, being undermined, i.e. dangerous, confused or weakened. Our video could then consist of the actors being in a world and not being able to control it and fearing it.

The Video
Overall, we want our video to be primarily based upon the idea of LIFE, either being restarted or re-booted.

Dust Clears
Obviously, the name of the song is Dust Clears and we thought adding a constant theme or style to the video would make it more effective. This theme/style would be adding some from of glitter to replace the idea of dust although we want the idea of dust to conform to the idea of LIFE so this relates to the blood aspect.

Idea of Scene
Crash dummy/giant jelly baby on an operation table being operated on by surgeons whilst lip syncing to the song however, the surgeons are the band members. Conforming to the idea of Life being the crash dummies and turning into a real life being the male/female.

Idea 2 of Scene
A picture sequence of selective toys/jelly babies walking around and climbing on the boy/girl lip syncing the song. Conforming again to the idea of a lifeless object becoming alive and full of life.

Idea 3 of Scene
An actor dressed in a spray painted suit with a helmet to look like a robot and he dances to the music in studio and added graphics, artwork and effects are added. This being an idea of a lifeless object wanting to become alive.

Second Idea
Our second idea is pretty simple. It consists of the shoot primarily based in the studio of actors dancing and specific individuals chosen to represent the artist but to make the video more effective we as a group rely on the editing side, make it more visually interesting such as adding graphics etc.
