Service Learning
St. Johns Universitys mission inspired by St. Vincent de Paul, is that it seeks to minister to the poor and those in need in our time.
Service Learning integrates the academic curricula with that of service Students learn better when exposed to the reallife context of the classroom issues; when challenged by community needs and called to offer their best to the people they encounter. Service Learning challenges students through reflection and analysis to grow intellectually while also experiencing the value of service.
