INTRODUCTION
The new Technologies of Communication and Information (ICT)

The proposal

Training for optimal understanding, handling, use and application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), has become one of the urgent needs of recent decades in all areas of life Moreover it with respect to education at all levels and modalities. The use of ICT, is linked to the creative, scientific, technological and humanistic development, referred to in article 98 of National Constitution of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela , from where emerge laws and national projects that underpin that vision.

Therefore in this project is presented the proposal to design a course destined to implement the optimal training and update required by a teacher who aspires to achieve the degree of Magster Scientiarum (MSc) in Education Technology, this proposal arises from the concern to the students of the Term III, VI Cohort of mentioned Master, since most of them only know and manage the basics relating to computing and computer science.

Project estructure

The above is considered a powerful reason to diligent all the documents, resources and supplies needed for application the course proposal as described below: brief description of the problem through a series of questions; formulation of objectives which could make viable the possible solution; brief description of the context, arguments and possible feasibility; work plans; and finally a proposal of evaluation.

The new technologies of communication and information (ICT), require an optimal understanding and extensive training of the various skills and abilities required for its use, handling and application, especially in the area of computing as essential for capturing, processing and obtaining of new knowledge, but at the speed that technological advances will training alone is not enough; a constant updating is required.

Looking at the situation of apparent lack of resource offered for the computing and ICT for them majority of the students of the term III, VI cohort of the Master Education Technology of UNEFA Extension Santa Teresa, are relevant the following questions:

Do they know the advances in computing and ICT? Are They training to a level medium or advanced to the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT? Will they be willing to learn and upgrade an computing and ICT?

Is the staff coordination of postgraduate prepared to allow the implementation of a training course for the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT?

PROJECT OBJETIVES
Possible answers to the above questions give place to arise the following objectives to overcome deficiencies. General Objective Implement a training course and update in the information and communication technology that optimize skills and computer abilities for the students the Term III, VI cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa.

Specifics Objetives:
1.- Diagnose until that point are trained to the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT, students of the Term III, VI Cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa

2.- Design a course for training and updating for the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT, for students of the Term III, VI Cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa

3. - Dictate talks training and updating for the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT, for students of the Term III, VI Cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa.

4.- Value the impact of training and updating for the use, handling and application of resources offering computing and ICT, for students the Term III, VI Cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa.

The Term III, VI Cohort of the Masters in Education Technology of the UNEFA, Extension Santa Teresa are made up of a group of 36 people (mostly teachers), seeking to learn more about the tools that will lead them to obtain an optimalJustification training and updating in the use, Project management and application of resources offering computing and ICT for use directly and indirectly in their respective areas of work in a more effective and efficient way.
