Industrial disputes can be said to be disagreement or controversy between management and labour with respect to wages, working conditions,other employment matters or union recognition. Diversified goals of management and labour result in industrial conflict. Conflict is the basic feature of Industrial relations.

What is a strike?
A strike is a temporary cessation of work by a group of employees with a view to furthering or protecting their interest in general and securing a fulfillment of their specific demands in particular.
Right to strike is provided under Industrial Disputes Act,1947 Strike is the main weapon in hands of employees to achieve their goals.
