One stop authentic and standardized information

center on the various activities taken up by State Commissioner along with schemes, projects, acts/rules, documents Online Case Management System and a Disability Certificate repository. A website technologically efficient ,citizen centric and with accessibility features so as to make it usable by Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

A website is accessible to Persons with Disability if it is accessible to persons with a diverse range of hearing, movement, sight, and cognitive ability.
SCPD portal follows the principle of universal accessibility based essentially on the idea of creating an obstacle-free environment.

Magnifier- Persons partially visually challenged can use it to see the page-area under on-screen-lens enlarged. Screen reader- to read out (helpful for users with reading or learning difficulties) or any event going on. Text Resizer -used to decrease or increase the font size on the page. Contrast Adjuster Person with colour blindness can use to change the contrast to available colours as per their convenience

Features

Content Management: Web-based administration panels, full lifecycle of content creation and publishing, single-sourcing distribution, mash-ups, content approvals and go-live authorization User Management: User authentication (registration/login), single sign-on, profiling, multilevel user, user administration, user behavior tracking, reporting and analysis. Users of this PORTAL will be State Commissioner, District Collectors designated as Deputy Commissioners, CDMOs orCMOs of various districts. Each User will have a separate login. Collaboration and Communication: Email Alerts, message boards, feedback forms, event calendars, reviews, disability certificate uploading into the database by CMOs or CDMOs.. Security: Various user privileges and access levels, personalized content distribution, data encryption.

Complain by differently abled person is received. Document verification is then done. After verification (if proper documents) case logged into CASE LEDGER. A letter is sent to disabled confirming about his/her registration. Legal Assistant also files cognizance to opposite party.

The Content management system includes the following functionality:

Authentication Each user is authenticated via simple username and password. There are various privileges associated with different users. Workflow The rules for workflow are different for each user, and each piece of content. These are governed through a policy distinct and separate from the system. Other Assistive Features

Iconic Learning: Text has been supplemented with icons to enable users with learning disabilities understand the information easily. Icons have been provided, along with text labels, for key navigation options as well as important features, such as print, email etc. Images and Audio-video Content Alternate Text: Brief description of an image is provided for users with visual impairment. Synchronized Captions: Captions have been added to enable users with hearing impairment access the audio/video content effectively. Text Transcripts: Transcripts have been provided for people with hearing impairment, deaf-blind users, and people having low bandwidth. Keyboard Support for those with Visual and/or Upper Limb Impairment:Keyboard access has been provided to enable users with upper limb and visual impairment access the navigation options. Skip to Main Content link: Provided for quick access to the core content on the page.
