TBUSA has hosted 5 international TimeBanking conferences. The most recent one, in June 2009, included a Colloquium called Dismantling Structural Racism in Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare. The Colloquium publicly launched TUBSAs Racial Justice Initiative.
The Racial Justice Initiative of TBUSA combines a targeted legal strategy with TimeBankings core principles to confront and tackle structural racism in public systems such as the juvenile delinquency, child welfare, and special education.
