Here are some tips which may help you to master the English Language!

It is important to understand that every word in a sentence has a job to do, a role in the sentence.

Pronouns are small words that take the place of a noun. Pronouns are words like: he, you, ours, and themselves. If we didn't have pronouns, we would have to repeat a lot of nouns.

Possessive Pronouns show something belongs to someone

that

EX: Look over there, those seats are yours.

The possessive adjective modifies the noun following it in order to show possession.

EX: Can we bring our children?

An adjective is a word that tells us something about a noun (person, an animal, a thing or a place).

EX: The clown's sad smile touched us

deeply.

An adverb modifies (adds more to the meaning of) a verb, an adjective or another adverb.

EX: I called you last night.

(called = verb; last night=adverb) EX: Your dress is very beautiful. (beautiful = adjective; very = adverb)
EX: The rain stopped quite suddenly. (suddenly = adverb; quite = adverb)

Verbs are words that show action. Every sentence must have a verb. EX: The kidnapper asked for 200 000 $ to set the hostage free.
