EPHESIANS 6:1-4
CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the FIRST commandment with a PROMISE that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. FATHERS, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

FATHER

A father (or dad) is defined as a male parent or individual progenitor of human offspring. (Wikipedia) We call him dad, daddy, papa, dada, tatay, amang, papang, ama. The heart of God is that of a fathers. We will become outstanding leaders when we first become excellent fathers. God is the solid foundation of the family. Family originates from the root word paternity which means that it build relationships with their children which establishes their familys destiny.

A mother (or mom) is a woman who has raised a child, given birth to a child, and/or supplied the ovum that united with a sperm which grew into a child. (Wikipedia) We call her mom, mommy, mama, nanay, inang, mamang, ina. A mother is a protector. A mother is a teacher. A mother is a best friend. A mother is a mentor. A mother is a safe haven.

She is strong and courageous. She is financially discerning and has a sensitive spirit to divine revelations received in dreams. She knows how do to her job. She has mercy to the needy.

She is elegant. She encourages her husband in the ministry. She is entrepreneurial. She prepares for the future events. She always has a word of wisdom and she knows how to practice mercy. She can carry her own weight without being a burden to anyone. She has her familys respect and admiration. She is extraordinary and excels above anyone else. She is not deceived by outward beauty and puts confidence in God only.
