Inability to see beyond your own job description and see the meaning in learning new skills. Reacting aggressively to challenges rather than calmly analyzing your own contribution to the problem and what you do about it. New technologies should be adopted by the employees for higher productivity for the development of organization.

PARTICIPATION

there should be a strong democratic and representative unionism for the success of participative management. there should be mutually-agreed and clearlyformulated objectives for participation to succeed. there should be a feeling of participation at all levels. There should be effective consultation of the workers by the management.

Both the management and the workers must have full faith in the sound mix of the philosophy underlying the concept of labour participation. Till the participative structure is fully accepted by the parties, legislative supportive necessary to ensure that rights of each other are recognized and protected. Education and training make a significant contribution to the purposeful working of participative management. Forums of participation, areas of participation and guidelines for implementation of decisions should be specification and there should be prompt followup action and feedback.
