SPIRIT. SOUL. BODY

Spirit: (Greek - pneuma) The Real YOU: Intuition, Conscience and Communion Soul: (Greek - psuche) Your Computer: Will, Emotions and Intellect (includes imagination and memory) Body: (Greek - soma) Your House: Flesh, Bones and Blood

CREATION OF MAN
God is a triune being: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Man is a triune being too because he is created in the image of God. God said, Let us make man in Our image Genesis 1:26 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

CREATION OF MAN
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return. Genesis 3:19

James 2:26
"For as the body without the spirit is dead..."

Ecclesiastes 12:6,7
v6 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well.

Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

SPIRIT. SOUL. BODY

In the outer circle the Body is shown as touching the Material world through the five senses of Sight, Smell, Hearing, Taste and Touch. The Gates to the Soul are Imagination, Conscience, Memory, Reason and the Affections. The Spirit receives impressions of outward and material things through the soul. The spiritual faculties of the Spirit are Faith, Hope, Reverence, Prayer and Worship.

THE BODY
The body is what you are seeing now. Its easy to know how you feel in your body and soul because youre constantly in touch with them! Its the physical part of you that can be seen in a mirror. The world largely concentrates on the body and we spend much on it The world largely concentrates on the body and we spend much on it

THE SOUL
The soul is the seat of human emotion, will and intellect. The following scriptures reveal this to be true

EMOTION
...the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him 1 Samuel 18:1 ...for whatsoever thy soul desireth:...thou shalt rejoice, Deut. 14:26

...the soul of all the people was grieved, 1 Samuel 30:6

WILL
The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat. Job 6:7 ...set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; 1 Chronicles 22:19

INTELLECT
...that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; Proverbs 19:2 ...My soul hath them still in remembrance, Lamentations 3:20 ...When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Proverbs 2:10

THE SOUL
