eliminating environmental threats and
circumstances that may impact the safety
of the family and/or neighborhood at-large

 Prevention: Identify potential risks prior to
incidents and ID antecedents by
understanding the environment, et al.

 Intervention: Quickly address current


issues; institute rapid response and
eliminate remaining or reoccurring threats
through guidance and tenant education

 Rehabilitation: Restore environment


following incident, address tenant needs
and eliminate remaining threats by
eliminating dangerous situations and the
conditions that foster them
