Bangalore ranks only second to Gurgaon and above Mumbai, in terms of highest salaries for MBAs, and coupled with its cost of living being lower than that in both Gurgaon and Mumbai, turns out to offer the best earning potential in the country Better state policy and investor perception : In a survey conducted by KPMG and NASSCOM, ITES customers were more attracted to a place if there was a proactive government who had the ability and willingness to facilitate new investments.

Awareness Building- managed through our promotions strategies Vacant seats in business schools in Karnataka: In Karnataka, there are 220 AICTE-approved colleges offering MBA courses. Of these, 64 colleges have given up possession of their management seats to the government. This comes to around 1,500, around 30 per cent of which offering MBA in Bangalore have surrendered their management seats to the government as they could not find takers for it. However in 2011 the number has dropped, only 1400 seats were surrendered.

In order to open a college, the association has to be registered as a educational society under Act 21 of the Societies Recognition Act, 1860 in order to start functioning. The society needs to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Directorate of Higher Education (Do HE). An NOC is an essential document certifying the requirement of a college in the particular zone, on the basis of which land is allotted to the society for the purpose of building a new college. After the college gets an NOC from (Do HE) it applies to the government for acquiring land meant for institutional purposes. Once the college is established, it has to be affiliated to a recognised university. The college has to comply with all the norms laid down by the university to get the affiliation. A fixed amount has to be paid to the university to get affiliation.

If the college offers a professional course then the affiliation has to be approved by the concerned council.

Building plan of the Institution should have been prepared by an Architect registered with Council of Architecture and approved by the Competent Authority as designated by concerned State Government / UT. The faculty is required to be a First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and 2 years relevant Experience is desirable.
