Introduction-Project Work
Means a temporary endeavour undertaken to create something unique. It has specific objective and specific resources used to perform the work. In other words we can say project work help the students to understand the practical approach of the different aspects learnt through program.

Enable students to develop further skills and knowledge gained on the course by applying them to specific business , problem or issue.

Steps in Designing a good website


Figure out what the focus of the website/webbased project will be. What specific features do you want in the project. Create a list of sections/modules for your project and give them a hierarchy of importance. Write out your content and finalize it. Find a style / look that meets your websites and your industrys requirements. Build the website. Evaluate the website and make the required changes / updates. Project Title Submission Presentation


Project Title will be submitted via mode of presentation of 5 minutes. At the time of Presentation students have to submit the synopsis and print out of power point slides. Date and time of project title submission presentation will be published on campus website.

A synopsis is primarily a condensation, an outline or a short presentation of an article, of an essay or of a book.
What is desired is not your opinion, but your informed and considered judgment!

Structure of the Synopsis


Name / Title of the Project Statement about the Problem Why is the particular topic chosen? Objective and scope of the Project Methodology (including a summary of the project) Proposed Pert Chart Hardware & Software to be used Testing Technologies to be used What contribution would the project make?

Project Report
The cover page has to be as per the Annexure-A of Program guide. Text page has to be printed on one side paper with 1.5 line spacing and page numbers at the bottom of each page. Margins should be as follows:Left 2( 2 C.M) Right 1( 1 C.M)

Use index sheets for all chapters Report should contain minimum 100-150 pages. Report must contain following certificates
Annexure-A Manipal Evaluation Sheet Students declaration (Annex-B) Certificate from Viva-Voce panel (annex- C) Certificate from University LC (Annex-D) Company Certificate ( where you are doing internship) Certificates from Managing Director, Director (Academics) ,Director (administration) & HOD Acknowledgement Abbreviations Table of Contents with page nos.

User Operation Manual- Including Security Aspects, Access Rights , Backup , Control etc.

Project Report
3 Hard copies and 2 soft copies has to be submitted on or before 31st Decemer,2012. Students submitting project report on this date will be only allowed to give presentation. After submitting the project report the time for final viva and project presentation will be allotted. Presentation has to be delivered using latest technology . Format can be downloaded from www.lbef.edu.np
