e-Abhijoga, The State Grievance Redressal And Monitoring System, Odisha

It is an e-Governance initiative to bring transparency in Public Administration and Grievance redressal system. Government of Odisha, Center for Modernizing Government Initiative (CMGI) and Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance, Government of India (DARPG), jointly committed to implement eAbhijoga (http://cmgcodisha.gov.in), in the Grievance Cell of Honble CM, all Departments, Directorates and Districts with National Informatics Centre as Knowledge Partner.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the application is to provide an online grievance, redressal and monitoring system to the Chief Ministers Office, Departments and District Collectors and common citizen.

It is an integrated application system, based on web technology which primarily aims at submission of grievances by the aggrieved citizens from any where and any time (24x7) basis for instant and easy communication between the nodal PG officers of Government Organizations and citizens resulting in the speedy redress of their grievances.

FUNCTIONALITY

e-Abhijoga facilitates the system generated unique registration number upon the online submission of grievances from aggrieved citizens to CMO or concerned Departments or District Collectors, through Internet using any Browser Interface. Automatic Online Data transmission between CMO and the subordinate Offices is facilitated by e-Abhijoga. e-Abhijoga also facilitates the CMO/ Departments/ District Offices to enter the grievances received locally in their offices and to forward the same to their subordinate organizations online for ultimate redress.

It facilitates the monitoring reports and queries as per the requirement of CMO/Departments/District Offices for effective monitoring for pending grievances. It facilitates the generation of automated letters like Acknowledgement and Final reply letters etc. for official correspondence with complainants.

Being a web enabled application any client machine equipped with internet connectivity could run the application software. Installation of the software is not required on individual client machines. It has been assumed that the user has basic working knowledge of computers as well as internet browsing experience

LODGE GRIEVANCE

Here the citizen can lodge a grievance by clicking Lodge grievance. Here he/she is required to fill up the on line form. The password is optional.

After successful submission of on line grievance, the citizen gets a unique registration no to watch see what action has been taken on his/her grievance. Now the grievance cell of the office monitors the grievances and either the case is disposed off or being sent to subordinate office for compliance.
