Adjective clause is a clause that modifies/ qualifies a noun/ pronoun /noun phrase in a complex sentence. Characteristic of Adjective Clouse is using who, whose, which, whom word.

who is used when a person as subject in sentence Example : -Anyone who touch that sword will be frozen -the boy who named Gates is a great hacker

whom is used when a person as object in sentence Example : -the dog whom he bring to you is my dog! -the person whom the teacher told is our principle!

which is used when a thing as subject and object in sentence Example : -the book which you burn yesterday is mine -the stone which you stole was fake

whose is used for possessive sentence Example : -I know someone whose his brother got promotion on his job -I know a girl whose aunt got that stone

Past tense is a grammatical tense that places an action or situation in the past. Past tense is divided into : Simple past tense Past continuous tense Past perfect tense Past perfect continuous tense

The simple past tense is used to talk about actions that happened at a specific time in the past. The form Nominal He/She/It/I + To Be (Was) + Adjective/noun You/They/We + To Be (Were) + Adjective/noun Verbal (+) Subject + Verb 2 + Object/adverb (-) Subject + (did) + not + Verb1 + Object/adverb (?) Did + Subject + Verb1 + Object/adverb?

Example of simple past tense (+) They were sleepy (-) They were not sleepy (?) Were they sleepy? (+) they stayed in Vivaldi Hotel (-) They did not stay in Vivaldi hotel (?) Did they stay in Vivaldi hotel?

Past Continuous to talk about activities that lasted for some time in the past. The actions can be interrupted by something or can be happening at the same time. The form
Positive I/He /She/It + was + Verb 1-Ing + object/adverb You/They/We + were + verb 1-ing + object/ adverb

Negative
I/He /She/It + was + not+ Verb 1-Ing + object/adverb You/They/We + were + not+ verb 1-ing + object/ adverb Question Was+ I/He /She/It + Verb 1-Ing + object/adverb Were + You/They/We + verb 1-ing + object/ adverb

The past perfect tense describes an event that happened in the past before another event was completed in the past. Form:

(+) I/you/he/she/it/we/they + had + V3 + complement. (-) I/you/he/she/it/we/they + had + not + V3 + complement. (?) Had + I/you/he/she/it/we/they + V3 + complement.

Past Perfect Continuous is used to talk about actions

or situations that were in progress before some other actions or situations.


Form Past Perfect Continuous Tense Positve : S + had + been + Ving + complement. Negative: S + had + not + been + Ving +

complement. Question: Had + S + been + Ving + complement.
