INTRODUCTION
Reva Electric Car Company, is an Indian company based in Bangalore, involved in designing and manufacturing of compact electric vehicles. It is one of the first companies to introduce electric vehicles worldwide The company's flagship EV REVAi is the world's best selling electric vehicle so far.

founded in 1994 by Sudarshan Maini, chairman of the Maini Group of Bangalore, as a joint venture with Amerigon Electric Vehicle Technologies (AEVT Inc.) of the USA Major clients of group included GM, Bosch, BT, MIC, OMR and other Indian companies in the automobiles, consumer goods, engineering and food food processing and many more.

Group was known for its quality standards and its plants had ISO 9001 AND QS 9000 CERTIFICATION The company's sole aim was to develop and produce an affordable compact electric car.
