Research Student (June 2011-Present) Structural Engineering Research Center(CSIR-SERC),Chennai Worked on Modal, Linear and Nonlinear Static Analysis of five storeyed residential building using SAP2000 and ETABS software. Currently working on Electromechanical Impedance (EMI) based Structural Health Monitoring using Piezoelectric materials. Involved in experimental studies of Monotonic testing, Cycling testing of shear walls and Piezoelectric patches in association with Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC).

Professional Assistant to Dr.Rajiv Gupta, Head of Engineering Services Division. Central Road Research Institute(CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi Studied dispersion pattern of various pollutants at a selected urban corridor in Delhi with present level of CNG usage with real time traffic and pollutant emission data. The dispersion pattern of pollutants is mapped using ArcGIS software. Attended a workshop on Introduction to GIS and ArcGIS server conducted by ESRI. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. Advanced Research on Near Surface Mounted FRP strengthening techniques using locally manufactured FRP bars. Doing my project work in Advanced Seismic Testing and Research Laboratory (ASTaR), CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Center, Chennai, India, since June 2011. Successfully completed Impedance-Based Damage Identification of Aluminium plate and Cyclic loaded Concrete Shear wall using Smart Piezoelectric patches. Currently working on embedding PZTs for monitoring strength of the structure.

Attending nonlinear finite element course offered in Structural Engineering Research Center. Attended One Day conference on Repair, Restoration and Rehabilitation of Concrete Structures conducted by Indian Concrete Institute and Building Technology Center, Anna University, 20th September, 2011.
