Calibration Notes for 2002-2005 Subaru WRX AccessPORT Calibrations for 2002-2005 Subaru WRX

Power Output: VF30/34 91 - 315 HP (+39%) / 295 lb-ft (+36%). Power Output: VF30/34 - 320 HP (+41%) / 295 lb-ft (+36%). Results may vary. Hardware Requirements: IHI VF30 or VF34 turbocharger specifically, STi or equivalent TMIC, Denso/STi Pink fuel injectors, & turbo-back exhaust system on an otherwise stock vehicle. MUST USE FACTORY OR COBB SF INTAKE SYSTEM, NO OTHER AFTERMARKET INTAKES ARE CERTIFIED COMPATIBLE WITH THIS CALIBRATION.

Fuel Requirement: This varies by calibration, 93 or 94 octane and 91 or 92 octane. If detonation is present, you should switch to a calibration developed for a lesser quality fuel or your should add a quality octane boost to your fuel.

Revision Notes: 3.00 These maps have been created with the newly-released AccessTUNER Pro 1.9.0.0. Maps created with this version of AccessTUNER software require the latest AccessPORT firmware (version 1.6.4.0-1189 or greater) be installed. All AccessPORTs must first be updated before using maps created with this latest AccessTUNER version. AccessPORT Manager 2.0 will automatically update the AccessPORT to the latest firmware version and is available for download on the COBB Tuning Support web page. Map Notes: 3.00 Now compatible with Launch Control and Flat-Foot Shifting (LC/FFS) features (MT only). duty cycle maps to smooth boost response. Revised boost target maps for smoother response and better partial throttle drivability. Raised Rev Limiter to 7250 RPM. 1.14 - Original mapping. Based on the AccessECU VF30/34 reflash version 1.04.

Boost Targets: The boost targets for each map can be seen above in the boost graphs or read below in the various map descriptions.

VF30/34 91 v300 - Calibration for 2002-2005 Subaru WRX vehicles. Best if used with 93 and 94 octane. If any detonation is present even when using 93 or 94 octane, try using octane booster or using the VF30/34 91 v300 map, which was developed for the lesser quality gases. Keep in mind Subaru recommends 93 octane fuel for even a STOCK STi. Boost Targets: ~16.5psi +/- 0.7psi peak boost pressure tapering down to ~13psi, depending on vehicle and conditions.. VF30/34 93 v300 - Calibration for 2002-2005 Subaru WRX vehicles. Best if used with 91 and 92 octane. If any detonation is present even when using 91 or 92 octane, try using octane booster. STi Pink 565cc Injector Valet Mode v300 - Valet mode requiring minimum 91 octane fuel. Rev limiter set to 3800 RPM and turns off boost control. STI Pink 565cc Injector Economy Mode - Economy mode requiring minimum 91 octane fuel. Low boost and increased ignition advance for optimal fuel savings. Not a performance map and not recommended for aggressive driving. * Graphs may not be those of the 91 or ACN91 maps. Generally speaking, the 91 and ACN91 calibrations runs slightly lower boost, have a richer fuel curve, and the ignition advance map is less aggressive to help compensate for the Arizona, California, or Nevada 91 octane fuel & atmospheric conditions (i.e. less than ideal). The maps designed for 93 octane are the most aggressive. Additional Notes: Additional modifications such as an under drive pulley or recirculating BOV are still within the acceptable modifications for this calibration. YOU MUST USE THE STOCK AIRBOX OR COBB TUNING SF INTAKE, ALL OTHER AFTER MARKET INTAKES ARE NOT CERTIFIED AS COMPATIBLE WITH THESE CALIBRATIONS. If any knock or detonation is present even when using the appropriate fuel, try using octane booster or reflashing a map that is intended for a lower octane.
