(1): During takeoff, engine anti-icing must be turned on if icing conditions exist or are anticipated. (2): Normal oil pressure is 40 to 50 psig. Oil pressures between 35 and 40 psig are undesirable and should be tolerated only for completion on the flight, preferably at reduced power setting. Oil pressure below 35 psig should be avoided. (3): An oil temperature of 165 C is allowed for a maximum of 15 minutes. (4): If the maximum allowable starting temperature is exceeded, the engine should be shut down and inspected. (5): The 21.700 lb takeoff static thrust at sea level is a flat rated to 84 F ambient temperature. The 21.000 lb normal takeoff static thrust at sea level is flat rated to 84 F ambient temperature. The engine synchronizer switch must be off bellow 1.500 ft AGL. ENGINE IGNITION: GRD START and CONTIN: OVRD: 2 min ON, 3 min OFF, 2 min ON, 23 min OFF. May consist of three normal start cycles of 30 seconds each, with engine allowed to stop turning between starts). MINIMUM IDLE: N2=46%. (With the 219, immediately after start, the engine could stabilize below 52%, but above 46%. Id this occurs, advance the throttle to approximately 60-62% N2 and return to idle. This should close the start bleed valve. If the N2 reading persists below 52% after the throttle is retarded to idle, maintenance action is indicated. FLIGHT CONTROLS AIRSPEED: Vmo-340 KIAS or Mmo-0,84 whichever is lower. Overspeed warning inoperative: 325 KIAS or 0,079 whichever is lower.

FLAPS: Do not use flap setting between 13 and 15 degrees.
