Reference our meeting in which it was stated that a 6KW Solar Powered System is being planned for SUPARCO Lab. The system is designed to run the Lab for 8hrs a day in the following manner; i.e. It will act as a Main Power Supply system for the specified number of hours during office time. The system is also designed to add up more solar power in the future and room for further load to be attached to the system. The total peak load of the system is designed at approx 6000watts, although it can sustain a surge load of around 12000watts.

The quotation also covers the following:

1) Optimized feasibility and engineering of system, the main characteristics of the system are as follows:

a) Determination of most suitable angle / Azimuth for optimum output.

b) The system is designed with flexibility of change in configuration and /or loads.

c) Daily Peak Sunlight for solar power generation is considered as 6 hours on average in all weather conditions at Lahore.

d) System is designed to meet the needs in case of low sunlight and/or cloudy / dusty atmosphere.

e) All hardware is calculated at 70% of their Maximum power in order to ensure longer life and smooth operation for longer duration.

f) Highest quality of cables are sized in order to minimize the line losses.

g) Dual protection for hardware is designed to prevent accidental short circuits / lightening and other accidents.

h) The system is designed following mandatory criteria to run efficiently and smoothly throughout the year and extended life time; i) True Sine Wave Inverters with 200% Surge power capacity for 30 minutes. ii) True Sine Wave Inverters with internal transfer relay. iii) True Sine Wave Inverters with Auxiliary GRID POWER connection. iv) True MPPT Charge Controller with TRIMETRIC battery energy meter functions. v) True MPPT Charge Controller with SMART SHUNT for battery temperature and monitoring.
