ABSTRACT
The automatic temperature controlled fan works in three modes: the automatic controlled, remote controlled and conventional modes. In the conventional mode, the fan works with the help of a commercially available step-variable regulator. Automatic mode makes use of a temperature transducer, AD590, which senses the atmospheric temperature and fan speed is set accordingly. Fan is turned off below a particular temperature. An infra-red operated remote control is used to linearly increase or decrease the fan speed. It offers remote switching between the remote and automatic modes.
