Part One: YOUR Epistemological World Views Summarize here your ndings (even if tentative!) about your philosophies of knowledge: Absolutist, Relativist, or Rationalist? Domains Natural Science Item #s 1, 5, 14 YOUR Philo of K Absolutist Brief Reason + Remarks I believe that when dealing with natural science, there is always only one correct answer When dealing with social science, I believe that there is only one correct answer. I believe that art is based on opinion, and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I think that in morality, one statement can be more correct than another. I believe that in religion, there can only be one god.

Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE/ARGUMENT When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. Domains % AUTHORITY 25% % EVIDENCE /ARGUMENT 75% 100% Brief Reason + Remarks

Natural Science

I believe that evidence is more reliable than authority because these are based on facts. Authority is more reliable on social science. They are both equally important because we have to consider both trained professionals and argument. They are both equally important because we always have to turn to authorities to judge what is right and wrong and argument to justify these actions is just as important. They are both equally important because authorities in religion such as priests are knowledgable in religion, but argument is also important.

Why do you think there is no OPINION in Part Three? Because opinion is under arguments already.

Some other learnings, comments, connections... I believe that areas of knowledge differ greatly from each other in terms of aspects such as reliability, importance of each WoK, and such.
