4.)Insert the connector clip back in its original position and clip it back into place with the use of a 3.0 mm flat head.
2.)Disconnect each LED module from the driver by detaching the female connector of the module from the male connector of the driver.
3.)To remove the flat bracket, rotate the wire grommet 90 degrees using standard pliers. Be careful to not exert an excess amount of pressure on the wire grommet. See Figure A.1
Figure C.3
Figure C.4
Figure C.5
4.)After rotating the wire grommet 90 degrees, pull it out of the python frame.
5.)Remove the side flat bracket by removing both screws on the bracket. Remove the bracket. Set screws aside in a secure location. See Figure B.1
6.)Slide out the driver inside the python frame from the opening. See Figure B.1
7.)Slide in the new driver, keeping a 2 gap between the end of the driver and the end of the frame. Ensure the male connectors attached to the driver remain exposed in the frame for easy access.
1.) It is not necessary to remove the flat bracket of the unit. Simply slide in the first led module into the Python frame.Connect the female connector of the lighthead to the male connector on the driver (located inside the frame). 2.)Then slide in the second LED and connect its female connector to the male connector on the driver. 3.)Place a connector clip in between them. Using a 3.0 mm flat head, snap the clip in from the top edge inward to secure the lightheads to the frame. Make sure the clip is secure with both edges tucked inside the frame. 4.) Repeat this process until all lightheads are connected to the driver and secured with the provided connector clips.
8.)Using the removed screws in step 5, reconnect the flat bracket (or surface mount end cap).
9.)Reconnect the wire grommet by placing it back in the hole and using pliers, clip it back within the python frame by rotating it 90 degrees.
10.)The wires with white shielding, connected to the driver are for takedown functionality. Working from the center and out, reconnect a LED module to the driver by attaching the female connector of the module to the male connector of the driver. Repeat this process for the next LED module.
11.)Place a connector clip between both modules, and using a 3.0 mm flat head, snap in the clip in from the top edge and inward to secure the modules to the Python frame. Ensure that the clip is secure by checking that both edges are tucked within the frame.
12.)Repeat this process until all the LED modules are connected to the driver and secured with the provided connector clips.

MOUNTING DIAGRAM
Wiring diagram shown for Python 200 and applies for the Python series, including the Python 400, Python 600, Python 800 and Python 1000. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not wire this unit to an alternative power supply, such as AC or DC converters. Wire only as instructed . The red (+) wire should connect only to the vehicles battery or to a 12V switch post. Failure to do so may damage the unit and will void warranty.
Red wire = Positive, 12V power Black wire= Negative, Ground White wire= Takedown steady function Yellow or White/Black wire= Flash mode changer Green wire= Takedown flash function Blue wire= Left arrow function Orange or Gray wire= Right arrow function Brown or Red/Black wire= Lightbar On function Blue and Orange/Gray wires= Center out function Black slash mark= 12V post (switch)
Wiring Instructions: See illustration for wiring information: RFI foil shielded cable
1.) In order to activate the unit, extend the red (+) wire to the 12V post of the vehicles battery. Extend the black (-) wire to the ground post of the vehicles battery.
2.) Momentarily connect the yellow wire on a 12V source to select a flash pattern.
3.) To turn the Python lighthead on, connect the brown wire to the red (+) wire.
4.) For left arrow function connect the blue wire to a 12V post (switch). There are 7 different left arrow flash patterns. To select a pattern, engage the blue wire a 12V source and momentary connect the yellow wire on a 12V source to select the desired pattern
5.)For right arrow function connect the orange wire to a 12V post (switch). There are 7 different right arrow flash patterns. To select a pattern, engage the orange wire a 12V source and momentary connect the yellow wire on a 12V source to select the desired pattern
6.) In order to achieve, a center out directional pattern, connect both the orange and blue wires to a 12V post (switch). There are 7 different center out flash patterns. To select a pattern, engage the blue and orange wire to a 12V source and momentary connect the yellow wire on a 12V source to select the desired pattern
7.)For takedown steady functionality, connect the white wire to a 12V post (switch) or engage the green wire to a 12V post for takedown flashing.
Please note: The Python 200 model does not include directional or takedown functions or options. The Python 2-X and Python 4-X models feature an attached cigarette plug with flash pattern changer, unless otherwise requested.
