A brief history of
The KGB says Farewell
At the height of the cold war, America appeared to be in a technology race with the Russians. However, the Farewell les (documents provided by a Russian defector codenamed Farewell) revealed that the U.S. had, in fact, been racing against themselves. The source of Russias newfound technology boom? 200+ spies operating in dozens of North American companies. The Russians primary interest was in computer tech, semiconductors and radar. By the time the information was revealed they already had most of what they were after, however, the Farewell les also pointed to a bevy of technology the Russian spies were actively persuing. American counterintelligence operatives at the CIA began circulating fake information in any number of high-technology business sectors and even inserted malicious code into software they knew the Russians were after. By the mid-80s there were regular malfunctions of stolen equipment and software all over Russia, culminating in a catastrophic, 3 kiloton explosion of a trans-Siberian oil pipeline. The Russians quickly understood and all U.S.-gained information became suspect.

Under the guise of a Phone Booth, this kiosk contains two touch screen based spy games, Disguiser and Profiler, and can be configured for free-play or to require a dollar bill inserted. In Disguiser, guests create their own secret disguise with hats, glasses, and other accessories to conceal their identity. Profiler is a twelve question, multiple choice spy test that determines what role guests would play in the world of espionage. Both Disguiser and Profiler print the customized results including a photograph of the guest to take their experience home with them.

Cryptanalysts are known for using their combination of logic and intuition in uncovering top secret information. They are theoretical yet abstract; quiet, contained, exible and adaptable. More interested in ideas than social interaction, The Code Breaker must have the rare skill of in-depth problem solving and use a variety of methods in order to decipher sensitive information.
