CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study The existence of many sophisticated computer systems and various innovations that we find in this information age justifies the age old saying that necessity is the mother of all inventions. The need to share information in a so called global network and mans desire to communicate from long distances called for the birth of the World Wide Web (formerly known as ARPANET). With the advent of the internet, many of the mundane tasks and businesses that people conducted were made feasible. Things like buying and selling various products can now be done online. The consumers no longer need to move from his location. A few clicks from his mouse will suffice enough to do the job. It is no wonder that reserving hotel rooms can now be done in a more convenient way today. If a certain traveler is planning to visit a foreign place, it would be hard for him if he does not have a place to reside on that country. Sibugay Grand Plaza Hotel is located at Sanito, Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay Province. This establishment is supervised by Ms. Lucy Bundagon. Sibugay Grand Plaza Hotel is composed of 31 elegant rooms (2) Presidential suite, (7) Deluxe, (4) Matrimonial (8) Twin sharing, (8) Single beds and 2 connecting rooms. Rooms provided standard amenities and are equipped with hot and cold shower, colored television wet with international cable programming and intercom. The Hotel offer complete facilities. A mini conference room for board meetings, symposium, disco bar, luncheons and dinner. Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate 200- 250 Seating capacity, imperial I seating capacity of 20- 25 seats and imperial II with the capacity of 45- 55 seats. The hotel accepts catering services for all kinds of occasion like Debut, Weddings, Birthdays and Others.
