In addition, the forum will be focusing on practical outcomes so all proposals will need to address four key questions: What did we do? Why? With what results? With what impact? PRACTICAL OUTCOMES. What did we do? We have asssed the quality of teaching profession using the WEF competiveness on education as a benchmark. Why? 'The quality of an educational system, cannot exceed the quality of it's teachers'. McKinsey & Company, 2007.The educational category of a country could therefore be linked to the teachers' skills, content knowledge, methods of instruction delivery and effectiveness of policies and procedures. With what results? A review of the educational performance of some selected African Countries and some G8 countries. Also a comparative study of their practice of teacher Recognition, Registration, lisencing, and professional development. With what impact? This will depict an indept study of the link between the country's practice on teacher Recognition, Registration, lisencing, professional Development and even hiring methods to validate teachers' quality and students' academic performance.
