The business school for PGDM, started about 3 years back, consistently focuses on designing Practice oriented learning and contemporary industry focused curriculum driven by our strong corporate interface. VSBM has been rated as A+++ by Just Career Magazine of JCAT group COURSES OFFERED: 2yrs Fully Residential PGDM with dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, HR and IT & PGDM (International Business). Equivalency of our PGDM program to PG degree granted by AICTE. SPECIALITY OF PGDM COURSES: Laptops with Wi-Fi connection, Study material including Course Books and Soft copies of Power PPTs taught in the classes, Foreign Languages, Industrial Tours, Foreign Visits, Guest Lectures from top industry, govt., corp. & academic, professional, Seminars, Live Projects, Social Services. PEDAGOGY (TEACHING METHOLOGY): The range of teaching and learning methods used at VSBM includes lectures, case studies, and presentation on strategic and contemporary issues through quiz, assignments, contests, competitions and practical projects with strong emphasis on use of technology. These help in developing the overall personality of the students. PLACEMENT: Our end term for students ends in early April, 11 and we are looking for selected students to join from Mid April, 11. However in urgent needs of companies, we can spare a very few students for early joining with an explicit understanding from companies to grant duty status/ leave at appropriate times to appear for their balance exams. National & Multinational companies having our alumni are in two attachments provided here. Year 2000 & 2001 saw almost 100% placement. SUMMER PLACEMENT/ TRAINING: It is mandatory for our PGDM students to undergo a practical training for min. 45 days during May, June,July on projects mutually decided in interest of cos. under guidance from cos. & our faculty.
