CCG GROUP ASSIGNMENT - PEER ASSESSMENT FORM WITH FILLING INSTRUCTIONS The Strathclyde MBA programme places much

importance to collaborative group learning to support individual learning and development. A key to the success of collaborative group learning is to be able to form groups/ generate quick positive dynamics within preformed groups, establish individual and collective responsibilities and eventually do a superlative job which gets reflected in the deliverables. It is accepted that in some cases one or more group members may make an outstanding contribution to a group, while the contribution of other group members may be poor. In order to recognise the individual contributions to group learning you are asked to monitor and evaluate the overall contribution from each of your group members, including your own contribution, to the learning environment, by completing this peer assessment form on completion of the group assignment. Note that this assessment is mandatory, it should be handed in separately from the group assignment, and it will confidential. Each group member must complete an assessment form. The names of all group members including yourself, must be listed in the table below, along with a rating ranging from a low of 0.7 to a high of 1.3 representing your assessment of each members overall contribution (including your own) to the team. The composite average rating for each team member will then be applied to the group assignment mark. In order to arrive at the final group assignment mark for each team member. The ratings apply as follows: The Individual Members contribution was Outstanding in all respects Very good, considerably above group average contribution Good, above the average contribution of the group Average contribution compared with others in the group A little below the average contribution of the group Poor, well below the group average contribution Very poor, overall contribution to the group was negligible Rating 1.3 1.2 1.1 1.0 0.9 0.8 0.7

It is to be expected that in any group, not all members will contribute equally in the same way; some members for example may be very good at brainstorming while others may be better at undertaking research, or report writing. Therefore in making your overall assessment of the contribution of each of your team members to the group assignment and learning, consider factors such as: Overall contribution to group discussion Working with the group in a constructive manner Carrying out research and analysis Preparation of presentational/report material Facilitation of discussions Team and task management

Your Name:___________________________________________________________ Group No:/ Name:___________________________ NOTE: The TOTAL of the ratings must equal the number of members in this group (i.e. 4, 5, 6) Thus high ratings (above 1.00) for some group members must be compensated for by lower ratings (below 1.00) for others group members. For example if a group has 6 members the ratings could be as follows: Total 1.3, 1.1, 1.0, 1.0, 0.9, 0.7 - giving a total of 6.00 Comments: (please use the reverse side of this form to add additional comments if necessary) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Group Members Name Rating
