1. COMPANY
PHILOSOPHY

The objective of this agreement is to facilitatea working environmentat Somerton National Distribution
Centrewhich deliversexcellentcustomerservicethroughexceptionalqualityand productivity.Fundamental
to this agreement is team work and the mutual respect which exists between the Company and its
employees. All employeeswill receivetrainingand assistanceto enhancetheir personaldevelopment.

It is recognisedby all parties that mutual benefitsand job securitywill be derived through a climate of
continuous improvementand the acceptanceof new methodologiesand technology.The Companyrand
Union will in all cases ensure compliancewith current legislationand best practice.The partiqffn$ this

7. RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THE EMPLOYEE

7.1 An employeeis to carry out dutieswithinthe limitsof that employee'sskill,competenceand


training.The Employershall exercisethe right underthis clauseto ensurethat the dutiesto
be undertakenby the employeeare not designedto promotede-skilling.

7.2 In order to achievethe objectivesof this Agreement,it is agreedinat emptoyeeswill need to


be able to fulfil all of the inherentdutiesand will be multi-skilledacrossfunctions,accounts
(contracts)and classifications.The Companywill ensurethat adequatetraininghas taken
place to ensure that such a degree of multi-skillingcan occur and will implementflexible

45. FLEXIBILITY

45"1 Toll CustomisedSolutionsand an employeecovered by this enterpriseagreement,may


agree to make an individualflexibilityarrangementto vary the effect of terms of the
agreement if:

(a ) the agreementdealswith the followingmatter:
